For those of us who could never afford Karl Lagerfeld‘s clothes, the time has come. The wonderfully eccentric German designer is joining Macy’s in a collaboration that will incorporate Lagerfeld’s sophistication and taste, tagged at prices that everyday women will find more feasible. The collection consists of 45 pieces– feminine dresses, tweed separates, and vegan-friendly leather jackets– all priced between $50 – $170. Be ready to shop on August 31st when the collection will launch at 235 Macy’s locations in the United States. Lagerfeld has reportedly stated, “To me, Macy’s is the perfect department store in the US where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget. That’s why I am happy to make this limited collection just for Macy’s.” View the behind-the-scenes video below to catch a glimpse of the head Chanel designer at work, dedicated to representing both his own style and the needs of the Macy’s shopper.
