Christian Louboutin vs. Yves Saint Laurent
Christian Louboutin pulled the “S” word on Yves Saint Laurent. Louboutin reported copyright infringement on the “Chinese red” sole, which was featured in YSL 2011 resort collection. However, the judge ruled that copy infringement on a color was too broad and YSL walked away.
Diane Von Furstenberg vs. Forever 21
In 2007, Diane Von Furstenberg sued Forever 21 for copying not only one, but five pieces from her line. Forever 21, being sued numerous times before this, were ordered never to duplicate a Diane Von Furstenberg look again.

A Birkin bag is something that every women desires, but most will never have. The company Thursday Friday decided to make their own spoof on the Birkin, which landed them into a lawsuit with Hermes. Thursday Friday silk screened a picture of the Hermes Birkin on a canvas bag and put them up for sale. This act not only got them sued but also pulled their canvas bag from the market.
